All eyes on German renewable efforts


Baetz hones in on Feldheim, a small German village with a population of 145, which has created a revolution, with zero unemployment as most residents work in the tow's biogas plant, or maintain the solar and wind parks which provide the electricity needs for the village. While renewable energy remains expensive, it is setting the course for a greater renewable energy market, creating approximately 370,000 jobs in the renwable sector, Baetz reports.
