German Experience

Germany and Ontario are similar in their agricultural base. Germany has over 4,000 biogas systems producing 1,400 MW of power, the equivalent to three Ontario nuclear plants. Approximately 38,000 jobs have resulted from anaerobic digestion infusing 3800 million euros to German farmers.
